Kid Korner

So I have been slowly testing my carpentry prowess and I wanted to show you guys my latest project. I built it just before QuynhAnh started school and have absolutely loved it. You can see in the picture on the right that before I built the "kid korner", it was an alcove where we put our disgrossting garbage cans, now the garbage cans are hiding away in a lower cupboard and we have an awesome place to store shoes, backpacks and coats. I have a list of projects that I want to do in this house, besides the boring ones like the basement, and I can't wait to start my next one (maybe the built in shelving project in the master bedroom, I can't decide), but I do know that it will be fun!
