Go Utes!!!

Ok, so today we went to the U of U football game against Colorado State and it was really fun. We have never been to a game at noon before and didn't realize until we got there that even in October, if you sit in a tin can for 4 hours, drinking nothing, in the sweltering sun, you may be able to pass as a cooked lobster after the game. I think that Tom was the worst of us but whenever I scrunch up my nose, I can feel my pulse in my face.....not a good sign.
I feel it is my calling in life to see how much illegal food and drinks I can smuggle into movies, plays, and yes, even ute football games. Hey, I am all about supporting the utes in any way that I can but I just can't get myself to pay 8 dollars for a hotdog with onions on it that I am pretty sure has been on the floor at one point in time or another and I am positive will give me heartburn. So that was the plan for today but I was so hungry on the way up that I ate my food before I even had a chance to hide my chicken sandwich in the hoodie of my jacket.....and I was so looking forward to seeing if that would work or not. Oh well, there is always next game, right?
So, GO UTES, they won against Colorado State 49-16 and next year's quarter back is looking good (we saw a lot of him in the 3rd and 4th quarter after the score was unbeatable). It was a fun day, a day of losing voices, extreme thirst, sunburns, and exhaustion...... but it was all worth it to see Tom do his infamous impression of a diesel truck (MAAAAAAAACK TRUCK!!!!).
